Ajax was the capital ship of the Imperial Navy from 6 ABY to 13 ABY, and held Darth Yomace and Galactic Emperor Ganlu. The New Republic was unable to defeat the Ajax in any battle; Jedi Knight Holma was killed by Yomace, and he was killed by Jedi Master Jando immediately thereafter on the Ajax.
The Ajax was destroyed over Endor in 13 ABY by the full Republic fleet. The next capital ship was Desterny, which was not destroyed but rather sold for scrap by Jawas after crashing on Tatooine.
